Guests are invited to have a swim in the private pool, or if visitors wish to engage in open competition with friends or family, they can challenge them to any one of the many board games on hand. If visitors wish to leave and explore the fort, that is also an option. Shopping is available in abundance, both contemporary and traditional, and there are enough restaurants around to ensure that guests will never run out of delicious options. If guests wish to venture outside the fort, they could coast down to the world-famous local beaches, or adventure out to sea for whale watching tours.

Care to try your hand at an interactive cookery class? We will organise a personalized session where you get to savour few of the authentic Sri Lankan dishes, alongside our in-house chef. A separate cooking station and individual cooking utensils will all be provided along with a ‘miris gala’ (authentic Sri Lankan utensil to churn out spices) and mortar & pestle of your own!
